Enlightening and expansive

I originally read this book in 1973, not long after its publication. It corroborated my view of life - that there was so much more to us than just living day-in and day-out, punching the clock and hoping for a good retirement. After reading that book, I started searching for more depth, more perspective in my life - and it was a wild and also highly enlightening journey. The book challenges the mediocrity of life - reminding us all that we transcend this physical domain.
